Having released their brand new single only a few days ago, the beautifully titled ‘I Miss Having Sex But At Least I Don’t Wanna Die Anymore’, Waterparks are now enjoying a slew of successes on both the Spotify and Billboard charts.
Waterparks were hella stoked about the news of their song ‘I Miss Having Sex But At Least I Don’t Wanna Die Anymore’ reaching the top spot on Spotify, and took to Instagram to spread the news, writing:
“GOOD LORD WHAT THE HELL, I MISS HAVING SEX BUT AT LEAST I DONT WANNA DIE ANYMORE BASICALLY BECAME #1 OVERNIGHT ON SPOTIFY??? FUCK U TIKTOK YALL GO ADD THIS SONG TO EVERY PLAYLIST YOU HAVE NEXT TO ALL UR OTHER FAVES”
Even Billboard is celebrating the successes of Waterparks, who for the first time ever have lead the Emerging Artists chart, taking home the number one spot.
We honestly couldn’t be prouder of the boys.
The Emerging Artists chart, which the Waterparks trio have taken the top spot on, ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, using the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50.
According to Billboard: “The group reigns on the strength of its third studio album Fandom. Released on Hopeless Records, the set debuts at No. 2 on Alternative Albums, No. 5 on Top Rock Albums and No. 32 on the Billboard 200 with 15,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music, marking the group’s highest-charting entry on all three charts.”

On top of their recent success, the band are setting off on their “The Fandom Tour” with Yung Pinch and Kitten, so be sure to catch them live while you can.
Eventually, these guys are gonna blow up beyond what we ever expected, and it’s going to be simply beautiful to witness.
