With Warped Tour’s final summer commencing shortly, hysteria levels amongst eager punters are running high regarding who they might see take the coveted stage one final time.
Over the weekend, the legendary traveling punk rock summer camp took to Twitter to “manage expectations” amongst fans, revealing a few of the big names they’d contacted to perform.
In the tweet, it’s outlined that the tour had reached out to blink-182, The All American Rejects and Paramore, receiving negative responses from the acts.
Unfortunately, it’s also outlined that My Chemical Romance will most definitely not be reforming for the occasion.

Although the tweet seemed to have no aggressive motive towards the acts mentioned, fans and members of other bands were quick to criticise the move, with many replying that the remark was “unprofessional”.
This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen on this website

Should have just said that you asked and the bands couldn't do it. Kind of rude to put bands on the spot like this.
Nonetheless, hopefully this lineup will be amazing because previous years have been, well, lackluster.

Despite the criticisms faced, some have voiced their applause for Tweet, including blessthefall’s frontman Beau Bokan, who responded with a simple, “I love this”.

Although are hearts are yet again broken at the confirmation that MCR are most definitely not reforming, Warped Tour did confirm that we could expect to see a few big names drop in for one-off performances, including All Time Low and A Day To Remember.
