Troye Sivan’s ‘Lucky Strike’ video may be his most aesthetic yet

Troye Sivan "Lucky Strike"

Pop icon Troye Sivan has just unveiled his new video for ‘Lucky Strike’, and it may just be the most aesthetic thing your eyes have been blessed with in a long time.

For us here in Aus, this beachy-themed video has come perfectly timed for our hot summer. but for those in the Northern Hemisphere, it will warm your cool hearts and give you a sweet sweet taste of something to look forward to in a few more months to come!

The video, directed by Emma Westenberg (who also directed Janelle Monáe’s incredible GRAMMY-nominated video ‘Pynk’), shows Troye out on a beach day crushing HARD on a bartender – a big mood that all of us can relate to.

Troye’s team collaborated with file-sharing site Dropbox throughout the making of the video, utilising Dropbox and Dropbox Paper to connect and collaborate in the entire creative process.

To accompany the music video, they created two short films that document the making of ‘Lucky Strike’, which involve behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and coverage of all the planning and decisions.

The first of these films will be available for fans to view on Monday, January 14 at 9:00 AM PT at dropbox.com/troye-and-emma, with the second being posted on Wednesday, January 16 at 9:00 AM PT.
