Unless you’re totally unaware of the wide and wonderful world surrounding you, you’d know that Twenty One Pilots have now been on hiatus for 291 days. Since then, the Clique have trawled far and wide for clues pointing towards when the hiatus might end, unfortunately, to no avail.
Now, however, a new fan theory has risen, delving into hints the band have dropped since 2017 – things are about to get a little convoluted so try to keep up.
If we throw it way back to Josh Dun’s speech at the APMA’s in 2017, he mentioned that Tyler couldn’t be there as he was “severing ties with dema.”
“Dema”, refers to a “tower of silence,” which fans are thinking links back to their tweets from the Twenty One Pilots account that showed an eye closing—with the final Tweet reading “and now I just sit in silence.”

The Twitter account pointed out that a gif on the TOP website was replaced, with the new one showing a website link at the end, leading you to http://dmaorg.info/.
this isn’t really a theory, more of a find. someone messaged me a screen cap of the vessel gif on the tøp show and i didn’t really believe them so i checked myself. there is a code that appears in the end of it, the tv static at the end of car radio. pic.twitter.com/NaBFvBF0Cn

The website leads you to a page of code that reads “404 ER-ROR -myou are in violation. thEy mustn’t know you were here. no one should ever find out About this. you can never tell anyone about thiS — for The sake of the others’ survIval, you muSt keep this silent. we mUst keeP silent. no one can know. no one can know. no o ne c an kn ow_.” It’s cryptic, mysterious and dark – we wouldn’t expect anything else from TOP.
so i typed in https://t.co/GuJcG4WJg1 and couldn’t put out whatever else the link has. THIS IS WHAT CAME UP. I DON’t KNOW HOW TO REACT pic.twitter.com/DIp9Sf4XjG

If you take a closer look at the code, there are random letters capitalised which spell out “EAST IS UP”. Fans took things to the next level, adding the violation code to the end of the website’s URL leading down an even further rabbit hole of mystery.
OMFG so if you add the violation code between the full link seen in the gif it takes you here. WHAT IN THE… https://t.co/342BLda86m pic.twitter.com/DUqOgOHnhJ

The first image looks strikingly similar to the “Tower Of Silence” or “Dema”. However, on TOP’s version of the map the “E” is crossed out – just like the last tweet the band ever made.
Map of the tower of silence. Dema is also found in the website page pic.twitter.com/PMDSxbOU97

the 'e' on the compass is crossed like the 'e's in their last tweet pic.twitter.com/JNP9zTD32q

Some further super sleuthing and investigating surrounding the “Tower of Silence” has directed fans towards its original meaning – it was once recognised as a a circular, raised structure where dead bodies were left to be exposed to vultures, revealing an image that looks very similar to the Blurryface cover.
Relating things back to the “EAST IS UP” reveal, if you turn the Blurryface image sideways so that east is up, correlating the songs to their track numbers will give you the violation code. Our brains are hurting.
and the whole "EAST IS UP" thing makes sense because on the website it says "the compAss lies" and on clancys journal we see "west is blocked" on the right side of the page so west would be down and with this "map" … necropolis is blocked? idk pic.twitter.com/GfdxONjyWS

Somehow, all those dates seem to paired with images on the “Dema” site.
The first date is the Vessel release date. 988 MOON 12 01 is Tyler's Birthday and 988 06 MOON 18 is Josh's birthday. They released Regional at Best on July 8th 2011. Self titled release on December 9, 2009 @top__today @twentyonepilots https://t.co/6tekUx970s

To finish things off, fans then recalled the opening lyrics to the track ‘Polarize’ – “Domingo en fuego” meaning, “Sunday on fire”.
the first eye lyric was polarize. “domingo en fuego” = sunday on fire. sunday is tomorrow. don’t hold me to this, but i think the eye opens tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/5U41POSuZP

So after what was an enjoyable, stressful and emotional wild goose chase, we can conclude Twenty One Pilots will probably ascend today, or next Sunday, or the Sunday after. Probably. Keep your eyes peeled, this all seems awfully un-coincidental….
