Exciting news for all you Mixers out there – singer Perrie Edwards has officially spilled the beans that she’s expecting her first bub with her soccer star boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain!
Posting a picture of her gorgeous baby bump to the ‘gram, Little Mix star Edwards wrote of the impending bundle of joy: “So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate
“Me + Him = You.
“We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!”
Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirlwall couldn’t hide her excitement over the news, saying: “beaming for you both ♥ I’m the luckiest auntie in the world! Love youuuuu x.”
Perrie’s baby daddy Chamberlain also shared the announcement to social media, joking: “Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies?”
He added: “So grateful and excited to become a dad, bring on the sleepless nights.”
Back in 2019, Edwards – who used to date former One Direction singer Zayn Malik – spoke of her relationship with the sports star, saying he was the “perfect balance”.
She said: “I’m a little creep sometimes, I’m a little weirdo. And he loves me for that, and that’s why I’m like, ‘Woohoo!’ You know? I don’t have to put on a front and be this perfect girlfriend.

“He’s like, perfection. He’s not too much, he’s not too clingy, but he’s not too cool for school.
“He’s got a perfect balance, he’s super supportive of everything I do, which is so nice.”
She added: “He just wants the best for me, as do I him.
“So it’s just a lovely balanced healthy relationship, and I love it. It’s a breath of fresh air.”
Another bandmate, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, gushed: “Arghhhhhhhh so so so happy for you both! And so bloody happy we get to go on this journey together! Love you so much.”
Pinnock herself only recently announced the news that she, too, was expecting.
Speaking in an interview alongside Jade and Perrie on BBC Breakfast, she said: “It’s such sensitive information and I wanted to be the one to tell the world. This felt like the right time to bring it out and say it.
“It’s scary. I wanted to enjoy the moment and I was scared that it was going to come out and I wasn’t going to be able to control that. You want to own it yourself. I’m happy I got to release that imagery.”
We’re just excited for a potential new generation of Mixers, tbh. Congrats girls!
