Paramore are taking a little downtime at the moment, but that hasn’t stopped them from keeping fans satiated, and stylish. The band just announced a sunglasses collaboration with Los Angeles label, Crap Eyewear.

Set for release this Friday, the glasses are the most gorgeous nod to After Laughter track ‘Rose-Colored Boy’. Honestly, the only way we want to go through life is by looking like a 70s dreamboat in rose-tinted glasses, and Paramore are helping us make that dream a reality.

The band released a heartwarming open letter to fans, announcing their collaboration and acknowledging that they’re taking some (well-deserved) time off, whilst thanking fans for their support and patience. You can read it below:

“Dear Friend,

“Thank you for purchasing our signature rose-colored glasses, which were lovingly crafted by Crap Eyewear in collaboration with us. Though life isn’t always rosy, we all deserve to pretend a little sometimes. These should help.

“In light of Paramore’s current absence from the outside world, we thought it’d be fun to remind you that the time we shared with you during After Laughter was one of the happiest in our band’s career, thus far.

“Thank you for understanding that we are taking a really nice break after grinding away for nearly 15 years! It’s so good to have a moment to just “be”. Consider this our way of encouraging you to do the same and to take care of yourself however you feel is best.

“Paramore forever. We love you.”

Hayley Williams recently opened up about the future of Paramore in an interview about her hair dye company, Good Dye Young. Williams revealed that she really doesn’t “know what’s next for Paramore” but assured fans that she has “always been a musician first.”

Paramore have given us all so much over the years, we couldn’t be more thrilled that they have the opportunity to take a breather. We can’t wait for what the future has in store for them. In the meantime, you can pick up a pair of rose-tinted glasses here.
