Emo power-pop rockers Hot Milk are, no pun intended, the hottest thing on the block right now. If you haven’t heard them yet, we’re here to fix that ASAP!

They’ve supported legendary acts like You Me At Six, Enter Shikari and the Foo Fighters, but now they’re finally here to represent themselves. Hot Milk are the hottest punk band around right now, and you absolutely need to check them out.

We came across these powerhouses while sharing Instagram band pics of artists we love in the office, the only rule was that they had to be really cool pics that inspire us to listen to their music.

Then suddenly there it was, vocalist Han Mee with her tongue out, and we had to know instantly which band she was in. For some reason, this band had slipped under the radar of everyone but one, and we rushed to find out which band Han Mee belonged to.

We were pleased to discover that carefree attitude continued in the music of Hot Milk, which hooked us. Just in time too, as the band is only just recently celebrating the release of new EP Are You Feeling Alive?

Right away we tagged all of our friends and went straight to their DM’s to spread the news of how much we adored their name and how much we vibed with their tunes.

And let’s not ignore the obvious part of this band, their incredible band name. Hot Milk is the taste on everyone’s lips. See it just works, and the puns can just keep pouring out.

Iconic names aside, we’re here for the good stuff – the music – and Hot Milk supplies it in cartons.

Whether it’s the pop punk brilliance of ‘Wide Awake’ or the earworm wonder that is ‘Take Your Jacket‘, the band have proven themselves to be a group that knows its sound and how unique it is, and are just here to spread their talents.

Any fan of pop punk or emo punk should absolutely hop on board the Hot Milk truck.

Below you can watch a behind-the-scenes tour vid they posted on their ‘gram, which made us fall in love with the UK group.
