We’ve been following Homesafe steadily on Instagram ever since Knuckle Puck vocalist Ryan Rumchaks announced his brand new band.

As fans of Knuckle Puck would know, Homesafe has been around for quite some time now, dropping absolute bangers whenever they so please.

Speaking of Knuckle Puck, it was through bassist @ryanrumchaks that we even discovered the band in the first place, as he also plays for Homesafe. In fact, he’s the lead man of this band, which is still incredible to us that he has so many talents.

Thanks to following our favourite bassist in the scene, we were able to fall in love with this incredible new band.

While on the topic of Ryan, check out his own personal Insta, which inspires us every day to want to start our own band and make our own killer tunes.

‘Without Warning’ and ‘Save Me’ , the new Homesafe tracks, have sucker-punched us into the next dimension, and we keep revisiting them whenever we feel upset that there isn’t more Homesafe stuff around at the moment.

‘Save Me’ especially is pop-punk perfection, rumbling with riffs that perfectly cushion the voice of Ryan Rumchaks, which we have come to know and love.

In an interview with Upset, Rumchaks said of the band’s direction and sound:

“Our newer stuff is definitely more rocky, loud and driven. But at the same time, we always like to mix in slower, softer stuff once in a while. We like to keep things dynamic. We don’t like when two songs sound too alike.

“I feel like it’s really easy nowadays to get caught up in all of the bullshit that comes with being a band, rather than just getting on stage and playing a God damn song,” he added. “A band’s live performance will always be the most important part of being a band, in my opinion. It’s easy to get distracted by all the extras, I guess is what I’m saying.”

You can watch one of the more recent videos from the band for one of our fave songs, ‘Run’, down below.

‘Run’ comes from the band’s 2018 album One, and is an absolute masterpiece of a song even to this day.
