Yesterday, Halsey, YUNGBLUD and legendary blink-182 drummer Travis Barker dropped their collaborative track ’11 Minutes’.

In a press statement, YUNGBLUD has delved into the meaning of the track, sharing “The song tells the story of a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society. We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us. We don’t realize how much we need something until it’s taken away from us.”

Of course, two of the most interesting and spontaneous artists around could not simply just drop a single. The power-duo hosted a surprise merch pop-up store in Sydney to celebrate the track’s release. The pair took COMMUNE in Waterloo by storm and turned it into a checkerboard pink fever dream. Check out the action below.

The surprises didn’t stop there. Later that evening, at YUNGBLUD’s headline show at The Factory, fans were treated to the first ever live performance of ’11 Minutes’. Check out some fan shot footage below.

At the close of the performance, Halsey praised YUNGBLUD and his band, “This young man and this group of young men are some of the best live performers that I’ve ever seen in my life. It is an absolute pleasure to share a stage with them. You guys are watching history happen on this stage right now.”

You can catch YUNGBLUD at the remaining dates of his Australian tour. Information below.
