Despite the fact that their lil bub isn’t even earthside yet, Halsey is convinced that their baby-to-be already belongs to the BTS ARMY thanks to their pregnancy food cravings of Maccas.

If that sentence has left you totally confused (which, fair enough tbh), let us catch you up to speed. BTS recently teamed up with McDonald’s to release a highly coveted meal consisting of ten nuggets, chips, a coke and two new sauce flavours – sweet chili and cajun – that are inspired by McDonald’s South Korea recipes.

The meal instantly became a hit, so much so that McDonald’s restaurants were forced to close in Indonesia due to a breach in social distancing measures because too many people were trying to buy them. The soggy cups and greasy chip packets have also been selling for a packet on eBay.

Anyway, back to Halsey. The pop singer posted a photo holding a brown Maccas bag on their IG story and captioned the pic, “Baby is Army.”

Pregnant Halsey says that her baby is already part of BTS Army

ICYMI, ARMY is a term for fans of the K-pop band, BTS. Unsurprisingly, ARMY completely lost their shit when they saw the post and soldiered on over to Twitter to express their gratitude.

“Halsey is always so supportive of my boys” one fan tweeted, while another added, “I bet Halsey ‘s baby is a BTS ARMY LIKE HIS MAMA.”

Others added: ‘The baby is so lucky!! Imagine having 7 BTS members as godfathers,” “Congratulations to Halsey!  Partying face That’s so sweet, I love the friendship that she and BTS have” and “look at @halsey’s ig story, it’s a bts meal and she said her baby is an army.”

Earlier this year Halsey updated their social media bio to acknowledge their use of she/they pronouns. The move was met with a huge amount of support from fans commending their bravery. Fans thanked the musician for encouraging them to share their own identities.

The ‘Without Me’ singer previously delved into her experience with gender identity in an Instagram post in Feburuary, that saw the musician divulge that pregnancy has illuminated new feelings towards their gender identity.

“I’ve been thinking lots about my body,” Halsey wrote. “It’s strange to watch yourself change so quickly. I thought pregnancy would give me very strong, binary feelings about ‘womanhood’ but truly it has leveled my perception of gender entirely. My sensitivity to my body has made me hyper aware of my humanness and that’s all. Doing a remarkable thing. And it’s grand. I hope the feeling lasts.”
