Yungblud and Finneas are just some of the amazing artists taking part in YouTube’s special New Year’s Eve livestream.

Titled ‘Hello 2021: The Americas’, the virtual event will air on the YouTube Originals channel and will be hosted by social media personality Juanpa Zurita and actor Storm Reid (A Wrinkle in Time).

As per Billboard, the full lineup for the event was confirmed on December 29th, and it’s absolutely stacked with exciting acts. Alongside Yungblud and Finneas (it’d be worth it just to see those two alone), Dua Lipa and Zara Larsson will also provide live performances. If you’re watching with an older member of the family, just tell them that true noughties throwbacks Ne-Yo and James Blunt will be appearing and they should be all set.

Jimmy Fallon and Joel Kim Booster will provide some comedy chops, and even RuPaul and actor Matthew McConaughey will be present. There’s also other social media influencers and musicians taking part to really see in the new year right.

Aside from the live performances, the celebration will also include speeches, dance breaks, and extra original content from special and surprise celebrity guests.

YouTube Global Head of Original Content Susanne Daniels said of the event: “With the world ready to move past an extremely challenging year, YouTube will use its global reach to celebrate the hope and promise of 2021.

“We look forward to closing the book on 2020 and throwing a worldwide celebration that our YouTube community can safely enjoy from home.”

If you don’t want to miss out, all the action kicks off on New Year’s Eve, December 31stat 10:30pm EST, or 2:30pm AEDT on New Year’s Day, January 1st, for those in Australia. There will also be two re-airings on January 1st at 9pm AEDT and then 7am AEDT the following day, January 2nd.
