And we mean HUGE. Say Anything have locked in two shows per city in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne next year to play three of their seminal classic pop-punk/ emo masterpiece albums in full. They’re hitting Australian shores as a part of their In Defense Anniversary Tour, celebrating 10 years of their genre-defining album In Defense Of The Genre.
The first night will see the band perform … Is A Real Boy and In Defense Of The Genre Disc 1, and on the second they will be performing Self Titled and In Defense Of The Genre Disc 2.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, frontman Max Bemis says, “Well, this should be the most epic series of shows we’ve ever put on in terms of the “legacy” of our early work. I predict all-out catharsis in these intimate settings and an awesome experience losing myself in the narrative of each of these albums played in their entirety.” And that’s a big mood.
