It’s been four long years since Paramore released their heavenly fifth album, After Laughter, and it looks like a new record is nigh.

Hayley Williams recently took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a conversation with drummer Zac Farro, alluding to a sixth Paramore record.

In the conversation, the two hint “paramore 6”, married with a number of old age emoji’s. It’s not much to go off but we’re taking it as definitive confirmation that the band has started chipping away at a new record.

Over the past year, Hayley Williams unveiled two solo records, Petals for Armor and Flowers for Vases/Descandos. During a Twitter Q&A back in February, she confirmed that she was “ready for” the next Paramore record.

“Did you write more songs for FFV that weren’t eventually included in the tracklist and if so are you gonna use them either for a future solo project or for a Paramore album?” a fan asked Williams at the time.

“There are more songs, yeah, but I’m not planning on another solo album. and I’m not sure if they’d be great for Paramore. I’m ready for the next Paramore album… let’s go,” Williams responded.

In addition to teasing a new record, Paramore announced a forthcoming collaboration with fashion label Collina Strada, with proceeds set to benefit in celebration of Earth Day.

“Paramore have collaborated with fashion label and social issues/awareness platform Collina Strada to create some exclusive pieces,” she says. “They are very RIOT!-esque and both items will benefit orgs for Earth Day.

“Collina Strada partners with to source upcycled tees from Kantamanto Market in Ghana where unsold/donated clothing is causing an ecological disaster. This one’s hand-dyed and features a vintage Paramore design screenprinted on front.
