Our dear friends Panic! at the Disco have obliterated the world record for longest-running number one song on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs Chart with their Pray for the Wicked track ‘High Hopes’. This is the same track that scored the title of longest-leading number one single on the Adult Pop Songs chart of this decade.

‘High Hopes’ has been dominating the chart for 31 weeks. Nudging out twenty one pilots, who previously held the record with their track ‘Heathens’, which held the top spot for 30 weeks. If that wasn’t enough, Panic! are currently holding on to the second spot in the chart with their track ‘Hey Look Ma, I Made It.’ We’re already chomping at the bit with anticipation over the Brendon Urie biopic that is certain to surface at some point in our life.

In related news, Panic! At The Disco manager, Zack Hall recently floated the idea of adding an unconventional item of memorabilia to the House of Memories. If you cast your mind back to 2013, you may recall Panic!’s video for ‘Girls/Girls/Boys’, that featured a very slicked up Brendon Urie.

Although we often wonder whether Brendon is a vampire fresh out of a Stephenie Meyer novel, it has been confirmed that his supernatural sheen can be attributed to baby oil.

“Is the empty bottle of baby oil we used to make Brendon shiny for the GGB video worth adding to the #houseofmemories?,” Hall shared on Twitter. “Asking for a friend.”

We’re in full support of archiving this integral memento from the legacy of Panic! At The Disco in the House of Memories forever. Revisit the video below.
