It has been six years since the world was left empty, dull and heartless. In the time since the Jonas Brothers have been on hiatus, I can honestly vouch for the fact that society has indeed crumbled.
The Kanye/ Trump saga, Fortnite, and intensified climate change would’ve never occurred if our three curly haired kings were around, slinging upbeat pop-rock gems in that time.
Now, according to The Sun, Nick, Joe and Kevin are getting the band back together – that’s right, our power-poppin faves, Jonas Brothers are set to makea triumphant return in 2019, the year of our Lord.
The Sun has reported that the brothers are planning on releasing new music soon, as well a documentary about their efforts to stage a comeback.
“This is going to be one of the biggest music reunions in years,” an insider told The Sun’s Simon Boyle. “It’s no secret that things weren’t great by the end of the Jonas Brothers, but blood is thicker than water and they’re healed their rift in the years since the split. After enjoying solo success and taking time to work on passion projects, they feel that now is the right time to get back together.”
The band initially broke up in 2013, citing “a deep rift” and “a big disagreement over their music direction” over their disbandment. It’s been ten years since the band released their last official album Lines, Vines & Trying Times, so it’s fair to say the world are hungry for new JoBro material.
Twitter has undeniably been sent into hysterics since the rumours begin to spill – fans of all ages are currently losing their minds at the possibility.
