Hayley Williams has taken to Twitter to throw subtle shade at previous members of Paramore that harbour anti-LGBTQI+ beliefs.
In a series of Tweets shared earlier today, Hayley wrote: “There’s a reason there are only 3 people left in Paramore. Surprise, haters, it ain’t cause of me.”
She continued, “Paramore do not condone religiously/politically dogmatic beliefs which leave our LGBTQ+ friends, fans, & family feeling abandoned and hopeless.”
Williams did not specify which previous member of Paramore she was talking about. Though fans were quick to draw the conclusion that the tweets were spurred by a homophobic comment from former guitarist Josh Farro, who left the band in 2011.
A screenshot of a Facebook comment allegedly made by Josh Farro has been circulating on Twitter in which he compares homosexuality with pedophilia.

Williams continued, “ya know, if that doesn’t jive with you, well, feel free to go to where all past members of Paramore have gone which is literally anywhere else but Paramore. To Paramore’s LGBTQ+ family you are full of love and you are loved.”
