Indie-pop luminary Billie Eilish has received rock legend Dave Grohl’s tick of approval.

As NME reports, In a recent interview with Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino, Dave Grohl compared the 17-year-old trailblazer to Nirvana. “My daughters are obsessed with Billie Eilish,” Grohl shared. “The same thing is happening with her that happened with Nirvana in 1991. People say, ‘Is rock dead?’ When I look at someone like Billie Eilish, rock and roll is not close to dead!” Huge praise from one of the leading figureheads of rock.

Back in January, Billie Eilish announced the release of her debut record. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? is set for on March 29, 2019. It follows Eilish’s stunning debut EP dont smile at me. So far, fans have had a taste of what they can expect with singles ‘you should see me in a crown’, ‘when the party’s over’ and ‘bury a friend.’ We’re only three singles in but we can already tell that this is going to be one of our favourite records of the year. Find the album tracklist below.
