Having been on the scene for a little while now, Australia’s AViVA recently made a big name for herself with the release of her debut single ‘GRRRLS’, but now, she’s back with a brand new tune that’s already amping up to be one of the year’s biggest tracks.

Following the release of the debut single ‘GRRRLS’ in November, AViVA has seen worldwide fame, with the track going on to reach over eight million streams online, and fast becoming a favourite of music fans all over thanks to her unique sound, and radio showcases for stations such as KROQ.

Now, with new single ‘DROWN’ dropping on Thursday, we’ve seen a much more introspective insight into the mind of AViVA, as evidenced by the topics of isolation that are very clear on the track.

“The first line ‘do any of these words make sense?’ really sets my intention for the song,” explains AViVA. “It’s an exploration of the isolation we experience as we go through the ‘steps of reason’ trying to rationalise life and all the choices we make.”

Recorded with the likes of MataisC, Ken Andrews (Paramore, Naked And Famous) and Matt Colton (Muse, Coldplay), ‘DROWN’ is available on Spotify, SoundCloud, and all other reputable streaming services.

But what does the rest of 2018 hold for AViVA? Well, in addition to spending more of her time between Los Angeles and Sydney, she plans to continue touring and writing, crafting even more phenomenal music to share with her growing legions of fans.
