Ariana Grande has finally released her new highly-anticipated new album Positions today, October 30th, as per Pitchfork.

This is a big one, folks. It continues Grande’s gift of giving us a new record every year, following Sweetener in 2018 and last year’s incredible Thank U, Next. It’s Grande’s sixth studio album in just seven years and her fourth record in a mere three years.

Now it’s time for a new era and we can only wonder if it will be able to top the massive success of Thank U, Next. Grande only announced this new project in mid-October before releasing the song’s title track accompanied by a new music video (she appeared as a much better and stylish President for the U.S. in it) last week.

Positions is packed with cool guest spots. The ubiquitous Doja Cat stars on ‘Motive’, The always-reliable the Weeknd lends support on ‘Off the Table’, and Ty Dolla $ign shows up on ‘Safety Net’. Stream the whole thing below and see what you think.

She’s been busy elsewhere in 2020 as well. Grande joined with fellow superstar Lady Gaga for the huge ‘Rain on Me, from Gaga’s album Chromatica. The duo performed the song memorably at MTV’s Video Music Awards in August. The track would go on to win Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Cinematography at the ceremony.

In addition to her own work, Grande has co-written a number of other collaborations. She developed ‘Ice Cream’ with her ‘7 rings’ co-writer Victoria Monét for BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez (lucky ducks), and the track appeared on the K-pop group’s debut studio album earlier this year.

Grande also co-wrote Normani’s debut solo single ‘Motivation’, which arrived a few months later. She even found the time to appear as Piccola Grande, the Pickle Fairy of Hope, in an episode of the Jim Carrey TV vehicle Kidding.
