Demi Lovato has just dropped her new album and much to our excitement, it features a collaboration with none other than Ariana Grande.
Yep, two of the most successful women working in pop today have joined forces and we’re certainly not mad about it.
‘Met Him Last Night’ featuring Ariana Grande appears on Demi Lovato’s seventh studio album, Dancing With the Devil…The Art of Starting Over.
The album’s lead single, ‘Dancing With the Devil’ features in the YouTube documentary about Lovato (also titled Dancing With the Devil).
The doco focuses on Lovato’s near fatal overdose in 2018 and her recovery following the incident.
Speaking in the film, Lovato revealed that she only had “five to 10 more minutes” when she was discovered following the overdose.
“I had three strokes. I had a heart attack. My doctors said that I had five to 10 more minutes,” she said.
Lovato also admitted to having experienced serious side effects from the overdose, including brain damage.
“I still deal with the effects of that today. I don’t drive a car because there are blind spots in my vision. I also for a long time had a really hard time reading,” she said.
“I feel like they kind of are still there to remind me of what could happen if I ever get into a dark place again.”

She continued: “I’m grateful for those reminders, but also I’m so grateful that I was someone who didn’t have to do a lot of rehabbing. The rehabbing came on the emotional side and the therapeutic side, internally. I did a lot of work after that—just not physically.”
