BTS have begun their Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon residency with two amazing performances of ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Idol’.
What happens when the biggest boy-band in the world and one of the best talk show hosts collaborate? You get BTS Week! The BTS army will get the chance to watch the Bangtan Boys every night this week.
Recently, BTS has been dominating the wave of K-pop fans in America. They did a showstopping performance on America’s Got Talent and have been breaking records left, right and centre. BTS’ new single, ‘Dynamite’ is the band’s first number-one hit on the Billboard‘s hottest 100 charts and is also the first song they’ve recorded completely in English. The single’s music video broke the record for YouTube’s most viewed video in 24-hours with 101.1 million views.
As reported by Consequence of Sound, BTS Week kicked off with flying colours on Monday night. Everyone in the group, including, Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook were there (well, as much as they can currently) and ready to roll. Since social distancing is still a thing, the show included virtual performances by the band.
The night opened with the seven members performing their latest hit ‘Dynamite’ in an acapella version alongside Jimmy and The Roots. In true acapella fashion, the clip features the artists joyfully singing and dancing in front of colourful screens.

There’s so much more to come of BTS this year. Just yesterday the band announced their new album BE will be released on Friday, November 20. The new album aims to bring hope and love to their adoring fans.
