Billie Eilish recently performed a live set at Third Man Records, and now it’s being turned into a live album. We can thank Jack White for this blessing to our ears.
Billie Eilish performed an incredible acoustic set from the halls of Jack White’s Third Man Records in Nashville on Wednesday night, but if you missed it, have no fear. The White Stripes frontman cut the live performance direct to an acetate disc, and is making the vinyl exclusive version of the performance exclusively available at the label’s Nashville and Detroit retail locations in December.
There is no doubt in our minds that these vinyl recordings are going to become extremely rare once they sell out.
Our favourite artist to come up this decade teamed up with collaborator and brother Finneas, (who performs solo under his name in all caps) to play an intimate invite-only performance, where the 17-year-old singer delivered an incredible 11-song set featuring songs such as ‘I Love You’, ‘Bad Guy’ and ‘Ocean Eyes’.
“Do you see that? They’re like making my voice onto a thing. Like right now! That’s crazy,” Eilish said in awe of White’s recording process, which was projected onto a live video feed, as reported by The Tennessean.
White shared the same admiration for the young artist, introducing her as “someone we really love, and we think is really innovative and inspiring,” according to the press release.
Following her closing song ‘When the Party’s Over,’ she returned the kind gesture and described the 44-year-old performer as someone who’s been “inspiring a whole generation of people to do what they want.”

Billie’s brother Finneas also shared a pretty incredible pic of the trio to his Instagram, which you can check out below.
