Billie Eilish has taken to the stage at the 2020 AMAs to perform her latest single ‘Therefore I Am’ for the very first time.

Audiences at the American Music Awards were treated to a moody performance that featured a neon red maze, staircases, narrow corridors and trippy closeups.

As always, Eilish was joined on stage by her brother Finneas, who played the guitar while wearing a Covid-19 friendly face mask.

The performance was just one part of a busy night for Eilish, who was also nominated for both Favourite Social Artist and Favourite Artist – Alternative Rock.

‘Therefore I Am‘, which features a music video directed by Eilish herself, is the first song from her upcoming second album.

The single comes in what has been yet another huge year for Eilish, who won five Grammy awards back in January.

On top of that, she became the youngest person to perform a James Bond theme song with ‘No Time to Die’, and also released the single ‘my future’.

Although coronavirus restrictions may have prevented her from touring, she performed ‘Where Do We Go? The Livestream’ as a substitute for her arena show.

It seems Eilish has no plans of slowing down in 2021, with Apple set to release the documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry in February.

As well as focusing on her musical career, Eilish has spent the year engaging in political activism, and expressed her elation when Joe Biden claimed victory in the US presidential election.
