Billie Eilish has headed to the desert for the first TV performance of her latest single ‘Your Power’ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Matching the colour scheme of the song’s music video, Eilish performed acoustically from an undisclosed location in the middle of the desert alongside her brother Finneas.

Speaking to Colbert later in the episode, Eilish confirmed the rumour that she went platinum blonde much earlier than she’d let on.

In fact, she even revealed that she’d worn a wig replicating her signature black and green hair for her last appearance on the show back in February.

“I knew it would have these processing periods where it would look insane, and I didn’t want to look insane,” Eilish said of the process of transforming her hair.

“But I needed something quick – so I literally ordered a Billie Eilish Halloween costume wig on Amazon.”

“It was awful,” she continued. “It was the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.”

‘Your Power’ serves as the third single from Eilish’s highly-anticipated second album Happier Than Ever, following ‘My Future’ and ‘Therefore I Am’.

In an Instagram post announcing the album, due out in July, Eilish revealed that it’s her “favourite thing [she’s] ever created”.

“I am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. I can’t even tell you,” she said.

“I’ve never felt so much love for a project than I do for this one. Hope you feel what I feel.”
