Billie Eilish has teased fans that she won’t be releasing her new album unless they all stop making fun of her signature hairstyle.

The 19-year-old star has had her hair black with slimy green roots for a while now but some people just can’t let Eilish look the way she wishes, it seems.

Now according to Buzzfeed, Eilish jokingly insisted on Instagram: “Stop making fun of me, oh my God. I’m fucking making you an album! I will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair. Shut up!”

In the past, she has responded to similar criticism by saying, “This is the longest I’ve had the same hair colour since I was 13 and that’s on mental stability and growth – leave me alone.” You tell ’em.

Eilish did also go on to admit that her signature hairstyle will be changing quite soon. “I’m changing it after the doc (The World’s A Little Blurry) comes out,” she revealed. “It’ll be the end of an era, I’ma give you a new era…I have announcements to make, I got some shit to put out.”

The eagerly-awaited Apple TV documentary is scheduled for release in February and will give fans a deeper glimpse into her very busy life. An official synopsis reads: Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry tells the true coming-of-age story of the singer-songwriter and her rise to global superstardom.

“From award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler, the documentary offers a deeply intimate look at this extraordinary teenager’s journey, at just seventeen years old, navigating life on the road, on stage, and at home with her family, while writing, recording and releasing her debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?”
