There’s no question fans are incredibly passionate and expressive. Whether that be through art, clothing, make up, tattoos or even designing their own merch, a lot of them show their love creatively. Here are some of our favourite make up looks inspired by songs, album covers, music videos and tour outfits:
Ariana Grande is undoubtedly one of the hottest artists in the world right now. She’s been serving up music and high production music videos across 2018 and 2019, which has meant a whole lot of art served up as well.

A really cool recreation of ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ aka the lead single from Ariana’s 2018 album Sweetener:

Twenty One Pilots
We all love a bit of #CliqueArt, especially when the Trench album art turns to body art. Not sure how that eagle was painted because that detail is insane.

Panic! At The Disco
Highly rating the blue hair and crown – this look pays homage to Serina’s favourite track ’King of the Clouds’ from their 2018 album, Pray for the Wicked. We don’t need to talk much about this album – single ‘High Hopes’ has been charting like crazy and has now actually overtaken ‘I Write Sins Not Tragedies’ for Panic!s most streamed song on Spotify!??
☁️ Imagination take me somewhere I don’t know ☁️ My favorite song on @panicatthedisco ‘s newest album is “King of the Clouds”. Been wanting to do a look to pay homage to the song 💙 here it is 👑 #makeup #mua #panicatthedisco #limecrime pic.twitter.com/4FmO7KpGZU

The look opts for the uprising UK rocker’s logo and favourite colour, pink! and a bit of black, because you know, rock.

The following is inspired particularly by his first single ‘Loner’ off his upcoming second album (no name announced yet). A lot of fans took part in it as well and shared their war paint with the hashtag #IAmALoner.

Inspired by his self-titled third album, Emma replicated the floral themed album cover to a tee, which received a whopping 18k Likes. Differing from his previous albums which were primarily pop, the 14 tracks are eclectic, ranging from powerful ballad ‘In My Blood’ to the funky ‘Lost In Japan’ ft. Zedd.
we love shawn mendes the album, and shawn mendes the album only pic.twitter.com/JyX23mOkkq

LIGHTS as a part of an eye look…

Not sure how a whole lot of colour around your eyes wouldn’t make you tear up but the simplistic cover of The 1975’s album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships was recreated beautifully. A quality, unique-sounding and socially-conscious record.

Another fan has conveniently collaged multiple makeup looks for us, inspired by various scenes in music videos:

The 1975 currently on tour who also have brilliant visuals (and even a conveyer belt on stage) so be sure to check that out. Australian dates are in September!
Also inspired by the album art, Ryan accurately captures the electro-pop feel of Lorde’s 2017 album Melodrama:

Fiery eyes to match ‘Lie to Me’s dangerous racetrack music video. This third track from 5SOS’s third album YoungBlood features Julia Michaels – most notably known for her 2017 hit ‘Issues’.

Harry Styles fans are increasingly creative in the way they reimagine his various outfits on tour including a floral suit and sparkly purple one:

The alt-pop trio are aesthetically pleasing with their atmospheric synth sound and nature imagery – and it translates.

Single ‘My My My’ from Troye’s 2018 album Bloom achieved mass success. Tbh blue and gold have never looked so good.
